Where it All Began

This is where it all began. In college, I was struggling with some health issues and failing my painting class - due in part to my health but also because I had the worlds worst teacher! He used to hang up my paintings on the wall in front of the class, laugh at them and tell the class that this was what not to do. So, I took an incomplete with the deal that I had to create a series of 3 paintings in order to pass the class and graduate.


After much stress, I went home to Dallas over break to begin working on the paintings and this is what I came up with.....






























These were such a hit, that I decided to create one as a gift for Wind River Ranch - where Christian and I met. This is the one where my passion for painting really came alive!
